A.J. in Trouble Again

Robert Iler, the young actor who plays A.J., Tony Soprano's son, was accused of beating up a woman.

He hasn't been charged (yet) and he denies assaulting the 41 year old woman (who incidentally admits she can't remember all the details of the alleged assault). This all supposedly happened early Thursday morning in midtown Manhattan.

Iler is now 20 years old and faced mugging charges three years ago.

There seems to be a pattern developing here

Either the kid is reaching out for help with these stupid acts or he is an idiot.

Maybe it's a little bit of both.

So what's the deal with Sopranos alumni beating the shit out of women?

He's twenty, not a kid, he should be more responsible

Your right he is an adult. He should be sentenced as an adult.

This thread can be taken as a social metaphor for the state of today's society.

I wouldn't put it past him, hes not a child, he's 20 years old and if he did do it he can not hide behind his age.

Maybe he can try out to be a contestant on American Idol. They don't seem to have problems with guys who beat up women. :rolleyes:

I have a hot greek/sicilian temper but even I'd never hurt a nice young lady no matter how much she pi*sed me off

Three years to the day after "Sopranos" bad boy Robert Iler copped a plea in a mugging case, the actor finds himself in a new imbroglio involving an assault on an Upper East Side woman, police sources said yesterday.

Iler is named in an NYPD report filed by a woman claming the 20-year-old and a pal beat her up Wednesday night at a party in a building at West 46th Street and Eighth Avenue, police sources said.

Bonnie Knaus, 41, allegedly flied the complaint early Thursday and claimed the assault left her with bruises and scrapes on her arms and legs.

Police sources said the woman admitted she could not remember the details of what happened.

Iler, who plays Tony Soprano's son A.J., has not been charged with any crime.

The case got stranger last night when Knaus told The Post Iler did not beat her up.

Iler's manager, Jeff Mitchell, said he had not heard of the complaint and could not comment.

It looks like the whole thing is nothing anyway.

The bitch is a gold digger, plain and simple.

He is just such an ass on the show it is easy to imagine him being a thug in real life.
