Martin Scorsese to direct seventh episode of season 6!

"David Chase and HBO executives have confirmed that Oscar-nominated director Martin Scorsese (Goodfellas, Casino) is to direct episode 7 of season 6.

Scorsese said, 'I'm delighted, obviously. David approached me, and so we discussed it and came to an economic agreement.' The seventh episode has not been titled yet, as season plotlines have still not been confirmed. The cast of the show are also delighted to have landed Scorsese as director.

'It'll be awesome to work with Martin,' said Tony Sirico, who plays Family Capo Paulie Walnuts. 'I worked with him for GoodFellas, but it was hardly a big partnership. Hopefully I'll feature a lot in that episode. He's a great director.'"
