I always thought tony was the boss, but that seems pretty much right

Ally Boy is, or was, Acting Capo (not Capo), and Richie Aprile was a captain, not soldier. Tony is, according to the FBI, Street Boss, meaning he is calling the shots and pulling the strings, but Junior is still technically the Boss.

Also; Paulie is out of prison so is Christopher still acting capo? I thought he was a soldier again.

Hesh has no Official rank as a member of The Soprano Family. Advisor isn't higher than Capo, as it is not actually a rank within the Mafia hierarchy.

Christopher isn't acting Capo, but I think that Tony is running more and more things through his now-squeaky clean nephew, perhaps behind the others' backs--he is nurturing Christopher to eventually become the Family heir.
