I'm glad that they're finally going back to the Adrianna and the Feds issue. Should be a good one.

sorry to say...I didn't think it was that great tonight.....Best thing was seeing Adriene's body..great lungs and that red lace...Other wise it was fill, nothing but fill....

That Janice..what a cook....Take this pan and bring it over here and take this pan and bring it back over there....now she knows how to make things a no work kind of job.

and looks who is coming back next week....the steak lady...

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/14/02 01:58 AM

I like the previews better than the show.

I really don't think development on Tony's love for animals, does anything for the show.

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/14/02 02:01 AM

Alotta the episodes dont turn out the way the previews make them look. I keep thinking that the next episode will have violence, sex, and climax but it never does .

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/14/02 02:01 AM

Janice is lame. The episode wasn't that great this week. The previews always get my hopes up and then I'm disappointed. We need some major fireworks coming up soon.

Adrianna did look quite good in the red bra, though.

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/14/02 02:04 AM

hell yeah she looked good but she killed it when she got high. just picture her a crack head now. and i cant believe who opened the door in next weeks previews. the car dealer lady what was her name ? anywayz it was also good to see furio doing some damage even if it's for 3.8 seconds hope next week is better

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/14/02 02:11 AM

waiting all week, and got this.....

did I miss something good?

The only other good part is when he sit and breaks the chair....

so good last week, dam what are they doing to us...

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/14/02 02:57 AM

Well, that was an hour of mostly nothing. Adrianna
has a smokin' little body, but that face is starting to get rough. Oh well. Maybe next week will bring some excitement.

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/14/02 03:02 AM

I wasn't too impressed with this week's episode however it was interesting seeing Bobby B. taking care of some business (the intimidation of the union guy). Looks like next week things are gonna pick up.
Posted By: Oblong

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/14/02 03:41 AM

I liked seeing Bobby with the union guy. It showed us a side we've never seen.

I'm wondering if the Gloria scene next week is a dream or if it's not Tony she's seeing.

When I saw Tony with the horses I thought of hte ducks from season 1, then I realized, no Melfi this week. I also thought maybe Adrianna would OD.
Posted By: CamillusDon

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/14/02 03:45 AM

no Melfi this week....that is good. I think that stuff sucks anyway. time to drop the crap unless she is going to get the shit knocked out of her.

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/14/02 05:16 AM

How fucking hilarious was that when fat ass Patsy Parisi (I think it was him) broke the chair?! In all, I thought this was a great episode! I liked it at the end when Tony was sitting with the animals and sort of "bonding" with them. How fucking annoying is Janice?! What does she want to do, marry Bobby? I don't get that, but then again, she is a moocher so it makes sense that she would try to dig her nails into a recently widowed Bobby for a free ride. Hopefully Bobby won't end up the same way as Richie did though, I like The Bobster. I also thought it was pretty damn hilarious when Uncle Junior gave the court artist the evil eye since he drew an unflattering picture of him...
Posted By: J Geoff

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/14/02 07:08 AM

No, Patsy didn't break the chair - Patsy is the small guy. But yeah - this ep was a little lame. Didn't really move the story forward much except for Tony starting to invest in Carmella's things. WTF is Janice up to?? Good to see Bacalla actually do something, though. Should be interesting to see what Gloria Trillo is up to next week, though...
Posted By: Paul Pisano

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/14/02 01:54 PM

Hi,
It had its moments. Look at the guy the drawing Junior in court. Junior was lifting weights to tone up The racetrack scenes reminded me of when me and my dad went to the track. Tony was sitting with the horse in the end. Ralphie is a screwd piece of work. He was going to let the horse die because I think he was getting tired of handing Tony money. Adrianna looked good except when she started to shoot up. I think she will overdose. Chris still uses also even though he promised to quit. Next weeks episode looks like lastnights. Gloria Trillo is back.

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/14/02 05:39 PM

I was very amused by this episode, "Pie-Oh-My". Some of the stuff at the racetrack was hilarious. Ralphie talking to the horse, "You tell that midget not to be shy with the whip." Then Hesh's reply to that was classic, "His mother should've said that."

Ralphie's generosity with his racetrack winnings backfires on him, but he got Tony back for shaking him down. It's as if he was saying, "OK, you wanna own a part of the horse? Here's a vet bill for ya!"

Junior's reaction to the artist's rendition of him on TV was great: "What the fuck? What kind of likeness is that?!", then staring down the artist in court the next day... great stuff.

Poor Adriana is losing her mind with the FBI all over her, and now it seems the paranoia about Tony finding out is making her lose her health. It's a good guess she may OD in the future.

Vito Spatafore breaking Adriana's office chair at the Crazy Horse with his fat ass was awesome, as well as the reactions of Ralphie, Patsy Parisi, and Eugene Pontecorvo. Even better was the fact that Vito didn't even fix or replace her chair! He just set it back up precariously so it would break again when she sat in it.

Bobby Bacala showed that he CAN be a mean guy who takes care of business, which I think is cool. Janice showed that she is more of a user than ever. And it was cool to see yet another old character make a comeback after a long absence: Mikey Palmice's widowed wife, Jojo, is seen. She hasn't been seen since Season One.

I liked the episode. It had its moments and was pretty funny overall.

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/14/02 06:11 PM

I wanted Bobby to say to her "Go take a midol". Not because she was being mean but beacuse I thought it was a funny line.

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/14/02 08:41 PM

Overall, okay, I suppose. I understand some of my comrades' anxiousness to see "something happen," and yeah, I feel the same way. But I truly believe (and hopefully not naively believe) that these kinds of episodes are laying a foundation for some big happenings in future epsodes...maybe I'm wrong. But if you really think about it, only season one had a "whacking" practically every episode. The other 3 pretty much built one on the other until about the final 3 or 4. Anyway, I hope it's worth the wait...

That is rather odd. Unless there's something I've forgotten, I don't believe there's been any of that except in the first episode when Tony was watching the 2 chicks doin' it.

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/15/02 12:53 AM

Hi you guys!

1. I didn't pick up that Tony bought the horse with Ralphie. I was wondering why Ralphie kept paying him. Did they show Tony agreeing to purchase it with Ralphie?

2. In the very beginning they show Christopher and a couple others beating up someone named, Giovanni, as Adrian watches. Who is Giovanni and why did they beat him up?

3. The stock that Carm wanted Tony to buy and he wouldn't sign the papers?? But then he buys it from someone else without telling Carm??

Next week's preview...It looks like Tony was knocking on the door of the "psycho car sales lady from hell." What is he thinking???

I have a feeling too, that something will break with Dr. Melfi's rape.

I don't think last night's episode was bad. I kind of think like Snake, and the last couple episodes are groundwork for something "BIG". I sure hope so anyway.

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/15/02 02:06 AM

Well, I had heard from a mailing list that last night's episode was pretty much a boring dissapointment. Seems to look that way from all this. Well, I got me a long weekened coming, so I think I'm gonna go and rent me The Complete Second Season on DVD .
Posted By: Oblong

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/15/02 03:17 AM

1. Tony didn't buy the horse. He offered some advice and Ralphie compensated him for it. He was either doing it for his work or paying "tribute".

2. I don't think it's relevant who that guy was. The point was that they were using Crazy HOrse for business and it made Adrianna nervous because she could then have info to rat them out to the FBI.

3. the stock and the papers were different. The papers were a type of life insurance policy.

I think the gloria sighting will not be what we think.

I oon't know about selfish, but she does go about life with a chip on her shoulder. On one hand she has the good life, on the other she's married to the head of a crime family.
Posted By: The Italian Stallionette

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/16/02 02:58 AM

I don't look at Carmella as selfish at all. I think she is genuinely concerned about finances if something happens to Tony. Yea, she has a good life as far as material things go, but must have "issues" in the relationship department. I do think she loves Tony though, and I think Tony loves her, in spite of his indescretions.

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/16/02 01:30 PM

Who was Tony calling a bitch though? Was it Inez, the horse-owner for calling him? Was it Ralphie, for not being around to pay the vet? or was it Carmella, for getting on his nerves? I never got that part. It seemed to me to be Carmella, although I will find that very odd 'cuz he doesn't seem to be one that calls his wife names even though he has no respect for her and all.

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/16/02 01:41 PM

When Tony was informed that he had to take care of the sick horse, he actually said, "Sonofabitch...", not just "bitch".
Tony was either complaining about Ralphie or just about the fact he had to go out at night, in the middle of the rain.

TIS
I agree with you there TIS,

I think she is also just concerned if something happens to Tony. I think she wishes that he would be faithful to her and her alone, but despite that she does love him, and even though he does disrespect her with the affairs and what not, this is the life they chose and I'm sure she was aware of it when she entered the marriage.

He's shown that he loves her in his own way, the way he buys her furs and things when he has a good week. He doesn't have to buy her anything, and the way some of those guys treat their women it wouldn't be surprising if he didn't.

Granted it's not an "ideal" marriage by any stretch, but then again this is a mafia marriage  So what'yda expect?

I'm pretty sure it was Raph that he was referring to.
He must have known that Ralphie told her to call him.

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/16/02 04:23 PM

He realized that Ralphie had "set him up". It's no big deal really but Ralphie is saying to Tony, "If you want to share the winnings, then you have to help". Since it doesn't fall within the "earnings" of a mobster, it's accepted behavior, in my opinion. Tony held his hand out for more so Ralphie's geting back at him.

That scene was funny as hell. Ralphie gave Tony some money and Tony KEPT his hand out for more.

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/20/02 09:49 PM

It does look like something is cooking this season with the women. (Pun intentional, awright?!) Carmela's anxiety about their financial future (and TIS, I too believe she's being caring, not selfish) while at the same time developing a potentially disastrous crush on Furio. Janet doing - what? Either a) going after Bobby because she feels she must have a man and/or b)using Bobby to wheedle into Junior's favor (to challenge Tony?) Meadow taking charge of her life and losing her adolescent petulance. And poor Adrianna; betrayed by her one close "friend", now on the spot to rat or go to jail, unsuccessfully trying to pull Christopher out of it; she's collapsing. We see so much of Dr. Melfi's own therapy sessions; to set up a breakthrough? Break w/ Tony? Will her son and Meadow get together??

And that Gloria?! Aaaagghh!

Looking forward to tonight!

(BTW...my father, Italian, not young, not too well, told me he cried when Tony sat with the ailing horse as the Dean Martin "Rio Bravo" ballad played. It was a surprisingly sweet moment, and I love my dad's reaction. Just wanted to share that about my dad with you all; forgive my sentimentality!)
Posted By: The Italian Stallionette

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/20/02 10:43 PM

I do kind of feel sorry for Adriana but does she actually know any real facts that could bust Tony and company??

I too, think this season something will break with Melfi and her rape; like Tony finding out.

And the lady car dealer...I wonder what she's up to? Of all the women Tony's been with I don't know why, but I don't particularily want him to mess with her. (Not that I condone his other women). She's creepy!!

Carmella's Grandaughter, that scene you referred to with Tony and the horse, I thought was kind of nice as well. Wasn't that Rick Nelson singing with Dean Martin? I believe he was in the movie as well. (Hope your dad gets well soon )

When do you guys think Adrianna will tell Crhis about the FBI?
Posted By: The Italian Stallionette

Re: Season 4 episode 5 - 10/20/02 10:57 PM

Hey Blake!! Where you been???

I think Adrianna should have said something right away. I think the longer she waits, the more guilty she's gonna look. I realize she is scared, but had she told Tony or Christopher that same day, I think her chances of being believed would have been greater than they are now.

TIS, thank you so much for your kind thoughts about my dad; much appreciated! And yes, although I said to my dad, "Wasn't that Ricky Martin singing with Dean Martin?" (duh!), he corrected me, Ricky NELSON, of course!

Take care.
