Season 4

So where's everyone going to be watching on 9/15?
Anyone having or going to a Sopranos' party?

Well Lou, to be honest there are just two other people I know who watch the Sopranos, (can you believe it?) and one might come and watch it with me. I just got HBO only for the Sopranos, and am anxious to see it first run. So all of you are all invited to my house for the Season Premiere ; I'll make the food, you guys bring the "spirits"!

ive seen the first 4 episodes already. lol. i dont got hbo so i had to use my sources to get them. you all will enjoy it very much, salute!

I just saw CNN and they had "entertainment news" and reporter was saying that he saw the first four episodes and that they were really good. Evidently, they are even taking bets in Vegas as to who will get "whacked" this year. The favorite he said was Junior and the long shot Tony (no surprise). Also, he said that The Sopranos won't be eligible for an Emmy this year, but didn't say why, just that it was "too bad" because it's a good season.

All I've seen is the trailer at http://www.hbo.com. But it looked pretty intense from the little it showed. I bought the TV Guide Sopranos Companion, but, of course, it gave little away. At any rate, yeah, Sunday evening is already booked at Snake's pit for the debut of season 4. I believe it's called "For All Debts Public and Private," or somethin' like that. Interesting title...

The title of that episode you just mentioned fits with the reporter who I saw today. He mentioned, that although the WTC attack won't be specifically discussed, that Tony and others will be concerned about investments they have made and some of their financial interests due to the attack.
Also, he said that they took out or faded out the portion of opening of the show that shows the WTC. I don't really remember seeing it in the opening.

That is an interesting tidbit, TIS. I'll have to be looking for that tomorrow night. I'd still love to have that picture/poster (or maybe it was a T-shirt?) that had Tony and the guys standing in a row, arms crossed and looking menacing, with a caption that read: "Bin Laden? All we want is an address!" Classic!

I think I have seen that picture! However, I don't recall that caption. But that sounds really cool!!!! Is it on line somewhere, so I can check it out??? I'd love to have it!!

To be honest, TIS, I can't recall where I saw it. It seems like it was on the 'Net, but I can't swear to it. Gettin' old and forgetful, ya' know! Say, has anyone seen my walker??

I had a copy of that in my email folder last year....It was entitled "We'll do the Job".

BTW, have we decided what we will call the thread so we can discuss season 4. I know, I for one, will be anxious to hear all of your thoughts/opinions. I suppose we could keep it on this thread since it's called Season 4, but I am afraid others will accidently come to it. All I can think of off hand is "Season 4 discussion." Not real original, but I will go along with whatever, just let me know.

for another year, I am going to have to take a look at the Season 4 discussion. I don't think that I can resist.

God, I think it's bad enough that the East Coast will see it first, and I can't check out the thread for 3 hours until it airs on the West Coast!!! But even if I had to wait a year, I know I wouldn't peek, cause I hate to find out what's going to happen thru someone else. Remember patience is a virtue!!!

Although I live in California, my cable package has 12 HBO channels, one of which is the HBO East channel. I am usually able to catch the Sopranos at 5, and I'll watch it again at 8 if there's something I missed or didn't understand the first time through. Also, I have flexibility to go out. Sometimes I'll leave the house to go out with my friends, and if I know I might not be home by 8, I'll make sure to watch it at 5.

Congratulations, TIS! Me, being Mr. Observant and all, I noticed it right away! (Sorry! Congrats, nonetheless!)

Well its been nice for a few days but know it looks like its going to storm. Its Michigan ya gotta love the weather. One day its 90 the next day its 65 degrees.

Grads on the star TIS!....

I'd like to ask one question, but PLEASE no spoilers. Just a generic question. Season 3 went in a lot of different directions at times, and left many lose ends. (The bugged lamp. The Russian. The troubles with Ralphie. Paulie's unhappiness. Tony's psycho girlfirend, etc.) Does Season 4 look like some of the questions are going to be answered? Again, please no spoilers, just maybe a hint which direction this season might be going.

I am sure those of you who have HBO already know, but in case you don't, they are having the "Season Premiere" beginning at 7:30, showing interviews with cast and fans, etc.before the show starts. I saw a little tidbit of it this afternoon.
