After a lot of thinking, i realized that i cant remember one time that don Vito's name was actually mentioned in the GF1. They just called him "Don corleone" If you remember one time that his name was mentioned, please tell me the part. Thanks!

His name is on the tomb stone at his funeral
Tom Hagen also uses Vito's name when he calls Bonasera to meet him at the funeral parlor after Sonny is murdered.
