The Godfather "Name Game" - 08/17/04 04:34 PM
This was a fun game (at least I thought so) we had running a while ago that kinda died out.
But since we have a lot of new members....
The object of the game is to give a cryptic clue that when properly interpreted gives the name of a character from the trilogy.
Here are a few easy examples:
He was on the hook
Sal Tessio
He was a good man
Turnbull
His last meal was veal
Captain McCluskey
OK...those were kind of easy to give you the idea
Here are a couple of harder ones:
He had only one client
Tom Hagen (from the scene with Woltz when Woltz says he knows all the bigshot lawyers in NY, and never heard of Hagen)
He didn't wash his hands before eating
Clemenza (see how dirty his hands are in the scene where they're all sitting around eating Chinese food while waiting for word on where the Sollozzo meeting will be)
I'll start. When you guess correctly, you give a clue.
He needed a light
Enzo the baker's son in law...what was his name? for your father for your father....
I got one...
she needed a shirt

Guys, you're not getting the idea of this game...
The fun is in writing the clever little cryptic clues. Make the other players figure out what the clue
means first before they can figure out the answer.
Try this one.....It's easy, but hopefully you'll get the idea....
