In the scene where Calo stabs Lucchese in the neck with those glasses are we to assume that Calo didn't make it out alive?

Since he was shot at point blank range, that would be a safe assumption.

Yeah I always thought so but didn't know for sure since the scene cut out immediately.

FFC mentioned that in the original scene a fountain of blood splashes out of the neck wound.
