Godfather Ultimate Cut

What does everyone here think about a Godfather supercut?

Ie, take every bit of footage available and make the longest possible version, in non-chrono order.

So it would be a simple case of getting the original films, and insering the deleted footage where they need to be, from watching the trilogy set, most of them go in no problem, and then just add the few from the saga aswell.

FFC is never going to release anything like this. He needs to realise that this footage was only deleted due to time constraints...they're as good as anything thats in the theatrical cuts.

There are two pieces that wouldn't fit together.
In the original version we see the Woltz/horse head secene right after Tom has left. Then we see Tom, Vito and Sonny discussing the Sollozzo proposal. This scene intertwines with the Sollozzo arrival at the Genco Olive Oil office.

There is the deleted scene where they discuss Woltz' behaviour and THEN they discuss the Sollozzo proposal.
In an early version of the script we'd see the horse-head-in-Woltz'-bed scene right after Tom brings the flowers from Johnny Fontane.
So it would have to be recut somewhere.

or perhaps just split the scene, first have tom discuss woltz, then we see the horse's head...then back to the meeting. we jump into the future during the scene, then leap back, as they do when they discuss Sollozzo.
