Use of Real Life Photos in GF1

I could of sworn last night when I was watching the Gofather after Michael kills the Turk and McKlusky when it shows everyone sent to the matresses, they showed a picture of when Frank Nitt Killed himself as he's laying against the fence...Correct me if I'm wrong.

And does anyone know who's actual photos are used??

I will have to watch that scene again. But I am pretty sure that real life photos are used in that scene.

Coppola confirms on the commentary that real-life crime pictures are used.

There is a montage of pictures in that scene. Are all of them real?

Also there is a clever little bit at the end of the movie. Before he kills one of the heads of the five families, Willie Cicci is killing time by having a shave in a barber chair. It was under these circumstances that a real mobster Anastasia, I think, was hit.

If anyone watches the Godfather in the near futur look for a bodty propped up against a fence and I think it was Frank Nitti, There was a pic of him on here the other day and I think it's teh same picture..

The most funny 'picture' was that of Clemenza lying in his bed. Then you see perfectly the name 'Fat' Clemenza is chosen for a reason.
