Happy Birthday Vito - Dec 7th - 12/07/07 03:23 PM

According to the flashback scene in GFII, today is our beloved Don's birthday. Much to Sonny's displeasure, the Japanese should have bombed Pearl Harbor on the 6th or the 8th. ;\) But as our brainless wonder Fredo commented, "they didn't know it was Pop's birthday."

He would've been 116 years old today.... and probably still wouldn't deal in drugs.

He might still frown on drugs, but he'd still be slippin' and how old would that make Roth?

I think they did know it was Pop's birthday. I think they were in league with Barzini. They figured that Vito would be so enraged that he would move his operations out west so that he could retaliate against the Japanese Empire. That would leave Barzini free to operate in the east with the cooperation of the Nazis.

That's right. Isn't it quite a coincidence that "the Turk" just happens to show up on Vito's doorstep!

5 shots of heroin, and he's still alive.
