When did this become the Deleted Scenes Forum? - 01/08/03 04:48 AM

I got a question:

What is the book that comes with the DVD's?

The moment I buy a DVD Player, i'll get The Godfather Trilogy!
Down to 69.99!

Curious: Can yuo record DVDs to a VHS?

I believe you can, Don Corpuzzi would probably know better than me. You need to know things about DVD/VCR players. There is a DVD player that can do that, but don't quote me on that.... ohwell

If you have a DVD player connected to a VCR ora TV with both bilt in you could. Play the DVD and press record on the VCR with the blank tape in.

PS - i did that with To Kill a Mockingbird and i didnt come out perfect. It fades to dark to bright while watching it.

you can record the dvd to vhs but it's like watching a palsecam from a ntsc unit. you'll have the scrolling and its in black and white. we've tried it before . . .

btw, don't know about the newer model dvd players. have no idea how they will perform, if they have some decoder to record it without the scrolling and not in black and white. . .

Yo Ricardo,

You can record DVDs to a VHS by hooking up 'your DVD player's audio and video plugs to your TV's Input slot. Then hook up your VHS player's audio/video plugs to your TV's output slots. Shouldn't be difficult.

Buggsy, will that still show it all messed up?

My friend tried to copy the Lord of the Rings, and did it succesfully except sometimes the audio fades and the color fades in an dout, and th epictures goes up and down like a BLOCKED HBO Movie lol.

That sucks, whats the point in having DVD/VCr combos?

Well sure it's possible to 'copy' dvd to vhs. We have an tv with some externals. One for the DVD and one for the Video. If I play a dvd I can say to my Video to take up what's one the external of the DVD. Voila!

this is what happens when the dvd disk are encoded. if you can't decode it, things like this will happen. there are some dvd's that you can record and have no problems when played. . .
