1-Frienship is everything. Friendship is more than talent. It`s more than goverment. It is almost the equal to family. Never forget that. 2-A man who is not a father to his children can never be a real man. 3-Any man should be allowed one foolishness in the life. 4-Revenge is a dish that tastes best when it is cold. 5-You cannot say "no" to the people you love, not often. That`s the secret. And then when you do, it has to sound like a "yes" 6-Every man has but one destiny. 7-Women and children can afford to be careless, men cannot.
Vito Corleone
8-The world is so hard a man must have two fathers to look after him, and that`s why they have godfathers. 9-There are things that have to be done and you do them and you never talk about them. You don`t try to justify them, they can`t be justified. You just do them. Then you forget it.
Tom Hagen
10-It`s all personal, every bit of business.
Michael Corleone
Do you agree with them? I do What is your favourite one?

Thats i think my favorite phrase which Tom Hagen identifies in Michael as the difference he had to the Don Carleon.
"A Friend should always underestimate your virtues and an Enemy overestimate your faults" Don Corleone
"Keep Your Friends Close but your Enemies Closer" Don Corleone

There are many things that were not covered in both God Father-1 & 2. Actually they couldn't be. As the Novel is much more vast. Like the part of Sonny's girlfriend Lucy and his doctor jules.
