What do you think?
you think Omar was really an informer?
Myabe it was just a Sosa trick to get rid of him cos he was "tight" on the money, and Sosa figured he'll do more money with someone like Tony in charge?

Good question Debra. I used to wonder about that myself. There is no doubt that Omar tried to set Tony up at the motel, but as far as him being a stoolie, that was always a question asked. The thing that I noticed is that when Sosa's phone rings and his guy picks it up, he does call Sosa over and tells him something. If Sosa felt that he could get a better deal with Tony, he would have had to figure that out right away as it was the first time that he met Tony. That means that Sosa would NOT have had the time to plan how to lure Omar away, make a false accusation that Omar was a stoolie, and had him killed. No, I feel that there was not enough time for Sosa to set that up. Therefore I believe that Sosa's guy really recognized Omar and Sosa took advatage of the whole situation that had developed and used it to cement a relation with Tony. Sosa saw that Tony and Omar had no love for each other, so when he got that news, he used it to his advantage. Basically I do NOT believe that the killing of Omar by Sosa was Premeditated. It was an action taken by Sosa based on the information that was given to him at that moment.

Five - ten years from now, they're gonna wish there was American Cosa Nostra. Five - ten years from now, they're gonna miss John Gotti.

I belive of Omar's innonsence. Sosa knew that Tony was willing to make a deal for a larger shipmeant of cocaine which we generate more money for Sosa. Omar just wanted to get the 300k (i think that was the amount)and leave without any kind of agreement, Sosa, who by just talking to Tony knew that he was a loosecannon and would stike up a large deal. Sosa migth have also realised that Frank Lopez would not have the money to pay for the cocaine and therefor his empire would slowly die, thus alowwing Sosa to gain more power in America
