The closest thing, I think, would be the autobiographical The Godfather Papers (and Other Confessions) (1972)


I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

You may also be able to find the original hard cover, published by Putnam (same publisher as the novel)

I work in a bookstore, and I find it really interesting that Americans don't use ISBN numbers when the rest of the world does. Gives me a hard time when I have to order books in from the states and can never find the information I need.

I saw his biography on the biography channel and it was very interesting. He got alot of material from real life instances like when neighbors asked his dad to hold a bag of guns for them.
