In 2003, Albert Circelli, soldier in the Lucchese Family, was shot dead by Genovese associate Louis Barone, at the hugely famous NYC restaurant Rao's, for his rude and obnoxious behavior. My question is, what happened to Barone for killing a made man? Was there at least a sitdown?

I think the shooter was quite old at the time already and got locked up immediately, you’d imagine for the rest of his life. Is he still alive? Update - As I wrote this looks like furio answered question

Louis Barone was actually attacked by some Lucchese members in prison, so apparently there was some retribution.

Furio because it's prison no guns I'm guessing. I don't really know the reason for the attack but it's likely because of him killing a made guy. If that's the case I'm sure murder was in the planning.

C'mon Liggio! Bulger was killed with a padlock inside a sock,so would be so difficult to earn some shanks? Barone killed a wiseguy and in the old times would be whacked in a way or another.

Furio, you win some and you lose some. All that every hit ends successfully is for the movies.

Okay Furio. My whole point is that most people familiar with this case erroneously believe that there was zero retribution, I'm simply pointing out that that's not true.
