What would be considered the most gruesome and vicious LCN hit? The Valentines Day Massacre in Chicago?

Is there proof that Kuklinski ever really killed anyone in that way? Many of Kulinksi claims have been discredited.

I'm thinking the M&M murders. Jimmy Miraglia & Billy Mccarthy taken from the movie Casino where he gets his head put in a vice until his eyes pop out.

there are a few candiates, iam thinking on that poor bastard that was tortured by casso because of the failed hit on him. Torturing reminds me instantly on deStefano, he had some gruesome killings too..

Carmine Galante went painlessly. Plus he got an iconic front page picture out of his assassination.

Died with a cigar in his mouth, a zippo in his hand and a shit eating grin on his face. What a way to go.

No, just thought that would be pretty gruesome to see somebody's eye pop out of their head.

Your thinking about Jimmy Hydell. Casso must of had a field day with that guy.

Pitera was partial to a bit of torture. He tortured some guy for information and Rosario Gangi had to put the guy out of his misery.

Action Jackson's is by far the worst; unless anyone can come up with something to surpass it in terms of sadism.

Rosario Gangi had nothing to with that hit, he was with the Genovese and a captain. His nephew or cousin(not sure which),Frank Gangi was an associate, but it was Billy Bright that put the guy out of his misery.I think you're speaking of the Leone-Stern hit, the murders that made him death penalty eligble.
