Hey guys, I know we all love the actors who portray our favorite tv show-but-just for fun, who would YOU have cast if say James G. wasn't going to accept the role of Tony or if Edie Falco wasn't Carm. I'll start - if Jamie-Lynn Sigler didn't portray Meadow so wonderfully, I think Shiri Appleby would've made the PERFECT Meadow. Tony Sirico, who plays Paulie Walnuts, originally auditioned for the role of Big Pussy, but David Chase liked his interpreteation of the character so much, he created a totally new character in the form of Paulie, for Tony to play. David Proval originally auditioned for the role of Tony, but Chase decided that he didn't have enough "clout," due to his lack of height. He would later be cast in season two as Richie Aprile.  It's hard to imagine The Sopranos without any of the regular cast, not just Joe P. Johnny Depp as Christopher, maybe, Michael Madsen as Paulie, Tom Sizemore as Silvio. Yes, it is very hard to imagine it! :p Mick
