As far as I know, the DVD extras are so-so. Obviously. Better than VHS, but not worth the extra twenty or so dollars just for one commentary for each disc.
I own the VHS, and they are good enough. Though in time, once I get a job, I would buy the DVD sets.

The DVDs are great. I love the ability to access certain scenes, because sometimes I just want to watch one part and then turn it off. If I had VHS I'd have to hunt for it a lot more. And the picture quality with DVD is sooooooooo much better.
