The next total solar eclipse to visit North America will be April 8, 2024. The duration of totality will be up to 4 minutes and 27 seconds, almost double that of The Great American Eclipse of August 21, 2017. The 2017 total solar eclipse was witnessed by about 20 million people from Oregon to South Carolina, and the upcoming 2024 Great American Eclipse is sure to be witnessed by many millions more.

The one and only solar eclipse that I ever saw in my life and was able to see it from my country, occurred sometime during the 1990's and I remember that there was some type of strange "grey" light all around and I wasnt able to look at the sun with ordinary sunglasses but instead I needed to use soldering goggles just to see a "glimpse" of the so-called eclipse lol
He who can never endure the bad will never see the good
There’s only one rule with eclipses: Don’t look at the sun during them, and especially without the proper protective eyewear. I'll never forget the 2017 eclipse
But you had to play it cool, had to do it your way Had to be a fool, had to throw it all away
Locals: Be advised to stock up on food and meds, pet food and baby supplies, and gas up your vehicles ahead of the eclipse. Thousands of visitors may run gas stations dry, and may clean out stores of some food and personal items.
Join me as I bring you the total solar eclipse from Monday April 8th 2024 in the city of Dallas where the totality phase lasted 3 minutes and 50 seconds. This was my 2nd total solar eclipse experience after seeing the Great American Eclipse of 2017 from Casper in Wyoming.
