In the mid 80s we bought our first VHS recorder funny that I still remember the first two films we rented Out of Africa and Platoon. Platoon blew me away as a kid.

We Were Soldiers is probably my favorite. I shared a few letters with General Hal Moore and he sent me an autographed picture of him before he died. Great guy who lived less than 2 hours from me in Auburn Alabama.
Very glad to see Fort Benning renamed after himself and Mrs Moore as well. Truly deserved!!
