I agree. The point in the Andretti-Cadillac case is the drop in prize money. Under the current Concorde Agreement, newcomers must pay a registration fee of USD 200 million to compensate for this loss. Some teams would like to push this amount up to 600 million dollars.
Although Cadillac's entry is still a question mark, it is certain that another American brand will enter F1 in 2026. Red Bull would start with Ford in that year, with Ford largely responsible for the electrical side of the 2026 power unit.
