And I really hope everyone here does the same thing I do when reading....which is use music as a soundtrack to visual imagery. If you don't, you are missing out on a very rich experience.

Good song. Didn't Jack Bruce write that? I know he did it on his Songs for a Tailor album and Bruce and Leslie West also did it on one of Wests LP's back in the 80's.

I still have this song on repeat. Going on four days now. I suggest anyone who hasn't....get with the program and play that video above. Bop to it. It is GOOD music. Just discovered the version above, which is the original to the Grum Remix.
Enjoy

Just got back from the gym so was listening to Chicago Transit Authority's "Beginnings" and (I'm embarrassed to say) Poison by Bell Biv Devoe as they are good workout songs

Today I have been singing a song I made up in my head about flapjack. It goes along to the tune of Motorhead's Ace of Spades and basically involves the word flapjack and anything that rhymes with that....

You have good taste my friend.
"Gimme shelter" is featured in 3 of Scorsese's films it's insane he's obsessed with it... not that I mind, it's awesome, I just hope he doesn't include it in his next movie. Thank god it wasn't in the Wolf of Wall St (or was it?)
-I shot him a coupla' times. -What's a couple? -Hmm, more than a couple... Really I don't know the exact amount, maybe I shot him 10 times, 12 times? -Maybe fifteen? -Hmm, it could've been fifteen...

I do like Burl Ives' "Holly Jolly Christmas" as well.
I remember after Billy Martin died on Christmas Day, on December 26th Howard Stern had this little ditty (set to the theme from Holly Jolly Christmas).
Have a Billy Martin Christmas, it's the best time of the year. So grab yourself a pickup truck, and have another beer.
Howard's a very sick man.
