I just finished watching the original Scarface the other day for the 1st time. It was very good. The original and the new version have a lot in common. The mother was the same as well as the sister. It was a good movie. I think it was made in 1933.

Yea Smitty I really enjoyed watching it the other night. And I also noticed the how the mother and the sister was in both versions. Also how he shot his sisters husband in both movies. I didn't know that Boris Karloff was in the original movie. Do you know if you can buy the original or not?

It can be found on DVD as part of the Scarface Deluxe Gift Set. It was included with the Pacino Scarface in that set.
If you don't want to buy the whole Scarface Special edition DVD gift set, then I believe that you can purchase the VHS formatted version right here through Geoffs site at Amazon.com.
