Yesterday night while I was watching Survivor Finale I seen a commercial that The Sopranos creator David Chase is gonna be on 60 Minutes on the 18th at 8:00. Just thought I would pass this on. Here's a link 60 Minutes

Thanks Mig!!! I do browse around different sites from time to time, looking for info on the new season (Lord knows there's plenty of time to browse between seasons  )

I will definitely tune in, although I am sure Chase won't give any big info. Maybe he'll give some indication though as to whether or not he'd consider yet another season.

The segment is starting now...

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

Just saw it. Was not a very long segment and unfortunately Chase gave us no insight really on what might happen. Can't say I really expected him to.

He really seemed, at least to me, that it is "strictly business" for him, and "only" a tv show. The commentator said he wasn't "vain", and I agree. This makes me think, for some reason that this really will be the last season. I know he said it would be, but I was looking for a little hope. Did you guys get the same impression?

It was a decent interview, I suppose. I think Chase came off as kind of arrogant and snobbish, though.

Regarding the last season, however, TIS, I do believe this will be the last one. Initially, it was my understanding that there were only going to be 10 episodes, but on the 60 Minutesinterview, they said 13, so I don't know what to believe. At any rate, Michael Imperioli was asked about it and he said, "All I can tell you is that everything ends really, really bad." I don't know if he's just shining us on or not.
