Changes in character have been particular present in this current season. Examples are Tony killing Ralphie definitely, as well as Silvio going against Tony's decisions earlier on this season and Paulie with Sack. I can only think that these changes in character back and forth between odd and normal are due to the fact that every episode is directed by a different director. Anybody else feel the same way?

I don't want there to be a consistent director, as I think having alternate ones offers variety in the show, but I only wish they would all get together and decide whether or not a character would do this or that.

Yeah, nice obserbation, Capo! I agree with you there, buddy. I noticed changes in character too, and some even made me dislike that specific character a little bit. It can only be due to the changes of director each episode.

You have watched FAR too many times Taxi Driver, Capo!

I think you are right about what you said. Ralphie's "whacking" was a bit too unexpected and it made a crucial change to the season, since he was a very important character, but, as I said before, he was a cochroach. Anyways, I have not watched all of the episodes of this season, nor the one in which Silvio goes against Tony, etc. I did not even know there was a change of director! I once heard that they may kill Tony for a salary disagreement!

Silvio doesn't go against Tony in a big way, just a few decisions that tested Tony earlier on, which led to my worrying a little that Silvio would turn traitor. This turned out to thankfully not be the case, however.
