C-2 is Giovanni "Johnny Roberts" Roberto (Chicago Outfit)

Born in 1904, for many years this man was a key member and trusted functionary of the Capone Gang, specializing in bootlegging, strong-arm, and jukebox-coin machine rackets for the Outfit.

He was also born in southern Italy, a fellow Calabrian, in fact. Just like Frankie Yale and so many other close Capone associates.

D-3 was John “Johnny Roberts” Robilotto (NY-Gambino)

John Robilotto was a notorious Brooklyn-based member of the family and a close associate, aide, and enforcer to the boss himself at that time, Albert Anastasia.

B-1 was Domenico "Danny Roberts" Roberto (Chicago, IL)

Before the INS petitioned the U.S. Government to deport him back to his native Calabria in 1935, Domenico Roberto was a very important member of the old Capone Gang. The FBI, FBN, and Chicago Crime Commission all agree that Roberto was a top boss in charge of bootlegging, gambling, prostitution and other rackets on Capone's behalf.

He was such an important mafioso, that even thirty years after his deportation back to Italy, in 1962, the federal authorities stated in their internal #302 memos, (and I quote)... "The very wealthy Roberto still wields great power in Mafia circles."

PS: He also happens to be the older brother of Chicago mafioso, Giovanni (Johnny Roberts) Roberto, who was C-2 mentioned above.

This leaves just one mystery mobster left to decipher....Who was "Benny Roberts" or A-4 ?

Does anybody here know the answer to this question, or wanna venture a guess?

This man is Brooklyn-based Anastasia/Gambino Family hoodlum, Benjamin “Benny Roberts” Robilotto, who was the lesser known brother of notorious Family capo John (Johnny Roberts) Robilotto.

After his brother’s murder in 1958, Benny wisely relocated down to South Florida where he built himself a fabulous home in the Hollywood Beach section. He also reestablished his underworld connections and activities in the Sunshine State.

He had been an active shylock up in New York, and after moving to Florida he once again started up a substantial loanshark “book.” He also reportedly went into the restaurant business, purchasing the Dixie Dunbar’s Restaurant in Hollywood.
