I'll start with this photo taken by Alec Byrne at BBC's studios in 1967 at Lime Grove, West London. Photographer was pretty sure this was the first time Jimi and Mick met.

Good thread G, are you familiar with Anton Corbijn? As a photographer he became known for his photos of mainly rock musicians and other artists.

Yes he also worked with U2.

Shot by Richard Avedon in his studio in May 1957. After an hours-long photo session, in which Marilyn Monroe showed the playful and flirtatious lady we know her to be, Avedon shot a portrait that showed the opposite of Monroe. A vulnerable woman lost in thought in the corner of the studio.

2Pac and Puffy at Puff's 25th birthday bash in November 1994, held at Roseland Ballroom on West 52nd, just weeks before the infamous shooting at Quad Studios. I am very familiar with Roseland. One reason was Gaga's love for the place. In 2013, I got to watch her perform as Roseland's final act before they closed the venue down wink

Great photo. Mickey is not the most popular man in the movie industry, but I've always gotten a kick out of his insanity. I think deep down he always wanted to be a tough guy

Thanks and I completely agree. And if you ask me, he was probably one of those Hollywood or "Sinatra" type of tough guys and on top of that he reached the bottom and later rose up but with a completely destroyed face lol
